That dark yellow player color on the mini map really needs to be changed.

That dark yellow player color on the mini map really needs to be changed. It blends in waaay too much with the minimap, especially if the player is in one of the lanes. The color almost perfectly matches the color of the lane on the map. Players really shouldn't have to be playing "Wheres Waldo?" with dark yellow in the middle of a game. It's not THAT bad IMO, but I've had similar problems with the dark green color on the WC3 DotA minimap.  I find the Yellow(Brown) of the Dire to be far too shady when looking at the mini-map. Mouse trapping inside the Minimap

 Mouse trapping inside the Minimap I noticed that the mouse pointer is not "trapped" inside the minimap while dragging just like the old minimap in Dota1. The current implementation is that when the user drag inside the minimap and goes out of bounds, the pointer will go out of the minimap which make the focus unable to move. Okay, I have searched everywhere trying to find if anyone else is having this issue, and I found nothing. So, in Dota 2, when I am typing in chat, after a random number of letters typed (usually between 1-3), blinking text cursor ( ' | ' ) moves to the far left (beginning of chatbox). Obviously this makes it almost impossible for me to write a sentence someone can read without problems. Outside Dota 2 everything works okay.
